Very nice game. Save and load work great. Puzzles generate very quickly. Overall, very nice, but for one tiny problem: There is no puzzle checker. I mess up quite a bit, so I like to have something checking my work, but with this game, that is not the case, unfortunately. Otherwise, it would be perfect.
Gameplay: 6/10 (no checking feature)
Graphics: 10/10
Controls: 10/10

Sudoku is definitely a great use of TI-Basic and just as good as many of the professional sudoku handheld games you can bye. The algorithm it uses to generate the puzzles is very fast, minimizing time wasted while puzzles are being generated. The save game feature is nice so you don't have to finish a puzzle at one time.
Some ideas for the future would be the ability to make "notes" of what could be on each square, or possibly different difficulty options.
Overall, this program is definitely worth your time downloading, even more so if you like sudokus. |
