This game was surprisingly complex for an author who was naive enough to put "this is my first game" in the description. I must say I was impressed by the fighting on the whole, at least in theory. You get five or so lives and must duke it out with fighters who aggressively blast lasers at you whilst you attempt to blast them back. After every couple of fighters there comes a boss who fights like two fighters. It sounds good, right up until the part when you remember this is all running on a 6 MHz processor. This game runs very slowly, even on an emulator. Congrats to the first-time author for valiant effort, but remember that there are limits and you must simplify or code more efficiently for games to run at a tolerable speed. |
