Description: The object of Spaced Invaders!! is to dodge a wave of falling V's with your spaceship (^), making the game fairly similar to Avalanche, the well-known assembly game. Once you get hit by a V, you instantly die and the program exits.
Gameplay:
The concept makes for okay, if unoriginal, gameplay. The game is quite hard, mainly because the V's always come down in one solid wave, forcing the player to wait till one V falls faster than another (which doesn't always happen), let the faster V pass, and get behind it to avoid the others. This is quite tricky, especially since the game is written in BASIC and runs slow enough to hinder your reflexes.
Overall: 3/10
An unoriginal idea with slow and difficult gameplay. |
