Game: 9/10.

As I love Chess, this game was a must download.

Looks: 8/10.

A little shabby, but you can't really expect much from a TI-84+.

Rules: 2/10.

There is no checking system. It sucks. You literally have to kill the king to win. Terrible.

Overall: 7/10.

This slid by my expectations.

This is the best chess program for TI-83+ out there. Now you and a friend can play chess on a fast, quick, clean, and regulated chess program for your calculator. It's powerful, fast, and now includes rules. You can change the options, change whether or not certain special moves can happen, and still retains that excellent graphic design. There are two minor setbacks: no saved games and no enemy AI. But, your settings will be saved from game to game. Also, the checking system isn't integrated yet, which is a major dampener. Instead, you have to make sure your moves are legal, which can be a pain at times.

Overall, this is a very nice program for all chess players. My rating: 8.5/10.
