“Polyatomic Ions” is an excellent choice if you are looking for a program that contains common polyatomic ions. Its bank of ions is very complete as compared to other programs of this nature. The thing that I found most unique, however, was the fact that it sorted the ions by their chemical formula, rather than by charge or by name. It would be helpful to have other sorting methods, and I hope to see that in future versions. The graphics are nothing to get excited about, and there is certainly room for improvement. I would wholeheartedly recommend this program as a supplement to one of the other "standard" polyatomic ions programs. |
