I've played pretty much ALL the versions, modifications, and WHATEVER, of the original Phoenix. Phantom Phoenix was hard (and Good!), but others just sucked. This one though, kicks butt! For once, Upgrade (autofire) works. Graphics are really good, and it takes a lot of time to get to the top of the high scores list. Of course, it will freeze occasionally, and there isn't a teacher button, but this game is still cool!
On a scale of 1-10, this gets a 7.9 |

Overview:
This game is very entertaining and well made. I highly recommend it for math class.
Graphics:
Pretty nice for 8*8 sprites. All the pictures are crisp and well defined.
Playability:
Button responses are fast, there are no situations where the ship doesn't respond to the keys. The enemies are of reasonable difficulty not too easy but not kicking your butt in five minutes either.
On a scale of 1-10 this scores an 8 |
