Graph3 is most efficient as a proof of concept. It does not have an accurate set of axes, and every graph must be scaled down (divide the whole equation by ~300) for a graph that is more than a tiny pointed shape.
However, the wireframe mode is very useful in determining top and bottom sides. When axes are labeled, rotation is more easily visible, but the screen gets a little crowded.
Overall, a very nice program that proves the TI-83/84 can graph in 3D, but it could have been much better. Unfortunately, development seems to have stopped completely, with little hope of producing a new version. A last note, this program has remained stable despite numerous OS updates over the years, which is rare in older programs, but if it is used with Omnicalc or other unstable, old programs, it may need to be uninstalled/reinstalled to work again. |

OMG! This App makes the ti-89 obsolete (so long as you have the latest OS on the 84) 10/10
My only qualm with this program is that there is only one equation slot. Add a few more and have some CALC commands, and this App will be the best thing that happened on the 84 since AXE. |

Wow, I am truly impressed.
Graph^3 is pretty sick. It's a great use of your TI 83/84 and will keep you from having to buy a TI 89/92. Overall, nice job, Deatched Solutions! |

Wow! Despite not knowing anything about how to graph the 3D graphs, I still have a lot of fun using this application. I like how you can move the graph in any way and also choose whether to make the shape transparent or not. I also enjoy putting in random numbers to see what the graph will come out as. Overall, I give this app a 9 out of 10. |

Graph³ is the application which should get an award. This is the reason why not to get a TI-89. |

Graph³ is a great program for anyone with a ti 83+ series calc. This is a cool program. The views are great and animation is very smooth (at least on my 84 Silver Edition). Some features I would like to see in future editions: Pt-On( commands and other Draw commands for drawing on 3d graphs and the ability to graph more than one equation at a time would be nice, even if the animation is not perfectly smooth when graphing multiple equations. |

Graph3 makes a revolutionary leap out of the old mediocre 2D graph screen makes it so that you can see the absolute all around goodness of what a graphed figure looks like all the way around. There is a newly added axis known as the Z-axis, which goes forward and backward opposed to only viewing up, down and side to side. You can also choose to use a new function. Rather than just X, you have X and Y, which makes for even more complex formulas for you to punch into your calculator screen. If you exclude the Y from the formula, you just get a flat board shaped like that of the regular graph screen. If you dont like only being able to view what the calculator shows you at default, you can turn the wireframe figure using the arrow keys to turn it up down and side to side. All of the same formats can be accessed (Axison, Axisoff, Coordon, Coordoff, etc.). All around, I would give "Graph3" a 20/10 for ingenuity and just all around goodness. |

Graph3 is the first and only 3D-grapher for the TI-83+. I've had this program on my calculator for an eternity, but it didn't help me much since I'm only in Algebra II. It is extremely fast, even faster than the TI-89's 3D-grapher (yes, I've actually tested it). Plus, you can make a lot of cool designs and such with it. I definitely think that you should have this on your calculator. |

Graph3 is great. It's not quite as good as the built-in graphing tools for the 89s and 92s, but it is still good nonetheless. It's very fun to experiment with. Some downsides that I can see are that the graphing is rather rough and I hear that the trace feature doesn't work very well. The main disadvantage is that you can only graph one equation at a time, but this isn't a serious problem. You can switch between filled and wireframe, which is good because I think filled looks terrible. A great use that I found for Graph3 is to check your answers in math. When simplifying an equation with one variable, you can check your answer by graphing the original expression and then superimposing the simplified expression. There is a problem, however, when there are two variables. If you do it in Graph3, then this is possible. If the two graphed shapes are similar, then chances are your answer is right, or at least close. This is a great program, and though it could use a tighter zoom feature (2nd and ALPHA maybe?), it is reasonably fast, and makes for a great time experimenting.

As I know, nothing conflicts with this APP, which is a plus. Just install and forget. It's also something kind of fun to play around with. I gave it to my school's calculus teacher and he had a field day with it.
Bad news: Not necessary for some people.
Good news: It's 3D graphing! Not terribly slow. 1st APP of it's kind on the TI83.
NOTE: I recommend using the Silver Edition, the extra speed WILL help out. |

A nice little application, with a few limitations. I would like to complement it on not crashing as much as other hook based applications do, as well as needing reinstallation only when RAM is cleared.
A few problems: The graphs are low resolution, and trace does not provide accurate points. Plots are not supported. Only one equation can be graphed at a time. The installer could use some more features.
I recommend Graph Cubed for anyone who is studying algebraic expressions in high degrees, or who likes to experiment. It will help you visualize an expression or equation, but it won't help you solve a problem. |
