When I saw Coaster 83+, I was reminded of the PC game "Roller Coaster Tycoon" and decided to download it and send it to my brand-new TI-84+SE. What could it hurt? At worst it would just clear my RAM. Well, that's exactly what it did. Unlike another reviewer, who had to clear his RAM because it Coaster 83+ slowed his calc to a crawl even after he exited, mine just crashed immediately on exit. It became unresponsive at the title screen. When I hit the exit button, the calculator turned off. When I turned it back on, my RAM was cleared. This was before I had installed Omnicalc, so I had to re-sort my MirageOS programs (Over 40 of them), and re-send some level sets for other games.
Idea - 9/10 Graphics - 4/10 Intro anim was wireframe, moderately detailed Speed - 0/10 Approx. 1/2-1 fps Stability - 0/10 RAM clear after title screen Total - 1/10 Great idea, Excellent potential, but needs lots of improvement |

Graphics : 8/10
The graphics in this game are pretty good, the track run is superb.
Controls : 6/10
The controls are a little tough to use ( partly because you have to mash the keys for the stupid game to work ).
Gameplay : 0/10
The gameplay is slow. When I finished the game I had to reset the RAM on my calc because it made my calculater slow. ( Note : This may be because i'm using a TI-83+ Silver Edition )
Fun Factor : 4/10
It was ok.
Overall : 4.5/10
I'd consider skipping this game ( may kill your calc ).

Wow! This game is a very interesting, fun, and surprisingly realistic. This is somewhat like Roller Coaster Tycoon, since you can create incredible custom roller coasters, but it is even better, because you get to ride them from a first person view.
Design - 10
Speed/Efficiency - 9.5
Graphics - 10
Usability - 10
Fun - 10
TOTAL - 9.9/10
