thanx i'll try that. i agree with all of you (except for that part that 83+
suck) for the most part we don't need any calculators (but i'm able to to
simi-complex problems in my head quickly) and for the most part in the
classes that i have it just slows me down the only problems that i have are
exponents and roots but thats it. then most of my class (freshman, high
school) is still in simple algebra (unversally called Algebra I, except for
at my school which can't even get that right, or pre-al). i guess our
school isn't exactly mathmatically talented (or talented at anything else
except sports, and there are a few exceptions that go on to Harvard etc).
but the 83+ is a good all around tool to have around (except during problems
like this).
