i have a p75 with 40MB ram, slow drive controller, isa sound, and i can still 
play mp3 while typing up a word doc with no skipping at all, i do use winamp 
and i had to play with the buffer settings a little and i had to turn off 
visualization, the other players i have tried skipped if i moved the mouse
