LCDs use a very low voltage, so if a connector is slightly disconnected
it'll probably not work. The connectors are very narrow as well, so it
becomes much easier to disconnect them. Try pressing lightly on the ribbon
cable above the columns which aren't working and see if the pixels come
on. If they do, it means the ribbon isn't attached to the LCD very well.
