What is your plan for the RF part of the link? I can help with COP8 microcontroller assembly code. What modulation technique will you use? Will you use a transciever IC? If so, what type? I can help with PCB layout if you have a working RF section.

I can make a 900 mhz RF link that will go 1/4 of a mile for
stamps...duno I am getting a set of these...
the set cost me about 60 bucks...
should be easy to use with a PIC or AVR ... I could definently make two
pics or avr's comunicate with these moduals.. with AVR-BASIC or
PIC-BASIC compilers...
. Complete 900 Mhz RF TX/RX solution
. Microprocessor-based synthesized architecture
. Eight user-selectable channels
. Very high data rate (up to 50Kbps)
. Qualified data output, True RSSI, CTS functions
. >1/4 mile range
. Direct serial data interface
. Wide range analog interface
. No production tuning required
. No external components required(except antenna)
. Wide supply voltage range
... i could do it .. problem is I know nothing about assembly or the
calculator protocal/ link stuff... so I cant realy offer any help
unless someone can help me with the Ti to stamp comunication(which i
suspect is the most difficult part) ...
oh and rich , get a stamp.. its the best 49 dollars I ever spent.. :)
I have done so much with it and learned so much also.....
>The BASIC stamp is expensive. I'd personaly like to see a PIC or AVR
programed
>to read all those things and relay it to the calc (like the stuff grant
says)
