TI-H: $4 serial link problems.

I made it, but when I plug it in and try to send to the calc, almost
instantly after trying to send it gives me 'ERROR IN XMIT' on the calc. It's
an TI-83.

Anyone have any experiance with the link that can tell me what's wrong?
