Putting in my two cents cause its something i learned this week... i
found out that newer comps have EPP and ECP parellel ports... that way
you can have high speed transfers both way (depending on your theory of
high speed) well if your parellel port isn't set for EPP or ECP in your
bios try setting it... if you are scared to screw with your bios... go
to the control panel and system thing and under ports and coms see if
you have an ECP port installed if not its not configured... if so try
changing the setting in the bios so that the ECP and EPP is off... who
knows it might work
