I could suggest that the parallel link never did work on my computer. I
built several of them, and not a single one worked. But when I tried it on
my friend's computer, it worked just fine. He uses it now. :)
The moral of the story is that if you're sure the cable is built
correctly, maybe it just doesn't work on your system. I tried DOS Windows,
straight DOS, Linux DOSEMU, everything. It just didn't work on my
computer. My friend, on the other hand, restarted Win95 to DOS and fired
it up..
The only sure thing that I know of is the serial link. I've never seen
anybody have a problem with it (unless they just didn't have any idea how
to use it).
