On the TI83/83Plus
Try this:
Press
STAT
5:SetUpEditor
ENTER
STAT
1:Edit

You should now see the lists L1 to L6

If you have lists named NAME1, Name2, etc and you want to work with only these
in the list editor, then
press
Press
STAT
5:SetUpEditor
then enter the list names from the 2nd LIST NAMES menu like this:
5:SetUpEditor Name1,Name2
ENTER
STAT
1:Edit
you will now see only the selected list.

| I've managed to delete lists L2 to L5 on my TI83 completely: I thought I
| was just clearing them- but now the calculator shows L6 next to L1. They do
| still exist somewhere in the calculators memory, because I can, for
| instance, store L1^2 in L2 then calculate 1 variables stats correctly for
| L2. But I can't see L2. Can I get them back in the right place again
| without resetting the calculator? All advice gratefully received.
