If it says asm support in the specs, don't ask for a loophole (ie:
zshell) here. The 86/83 have ASM support. IOW: They have a shell
system in their rom. (Actually, shell: a program that serves as an
interface to the user to select programs.)
You simply run the 86 Asm code. And no, zshell won't run on 86. and a
simplew recompilation won't cut it either. some rewriting has tobe
done to make things work 'on the other side'. On the other hand, HAL
code (should) work on the 82, 83, 85, AND 86.
running that is rather hard (hint: there was this cute little book
included when you bought the thing), but someone made something called
Aurora, which allows you to select programs with a nice user interface
(that's all Aurora is, an interface.)
