Hi to all,


I recently subscribed to this group. It does seem to me that this forum focuses
on very technical matters rather than on instructional/academic issues
(which I would like to see more of). Perhaps there is a way to form a forum
which focuses on instructional matters.


I should also mention that a couple of subscribers to this group have
written to me concerning the ability to contibute AP-type multiple-choice
questions or free-response type questions which focuses on the new
forthcoming 1997-98 course description for AP calculus. I did want to offer
any member of this group who has been teaching AP calculus for years with
the talent of writing multiple-choice/free-response AP type questions, to
please feel free to contact me at lederman@nwdc.com


If you have other material in mathematics that involves the use of the graphing
calculator, please feel free to contact me as well.


Most AP calculus teachers nationwide have seen or are using my AP calculus
preparation books for AB/BC and I welcome all comments.
