Well, calculators are allowed, but even the simplest programmable one( i.e. TI57, 
with 50 steps) is forbidden, and no teacher will even allow them in class. But I 
think that such calcs aren't really necessary, maths is usually done in the 
brain, not with the fingers( except for writing ;-) ). But we are sliding off 
topic			A.K.
