A89: Re: Doors Libraries/Header files for TIGCC also mlink
Thanks guys!
I've taken James's suggestion an made a batch file...but have run into some
problems
umm the batch file looks like this:
mlink %1 -n=z
mlink is located in c:\windows\command\ so I can just say mlink wherever i
want and it will run.
the idea is that i drag and drop on to the batch file and then mlink goes to
work...
but for some reason mlink exits with a general protection fault... it seems
that this is probably a bug in mlink though; because the problem seems to be
that MS windows passes a string that is all caps; if I type in the path of
the object file manually and don't use caps it works fine though... also on
the program i'm working on mlink reported that the on calc size was 2 bytes
smaller than it actually was... oh well perfection is elusive.. but can be
achieved with time!
I understand your point of view and appreciate it, Zeljko, as I have read
some other posts and things you have said on the subject of libraries.
Thanks for the suggestion of using Thomas's compression method ... I've
never seen it, but know where to find it... I'll be sure to get it soon!
There just may be one less prog that requires libraries out there.
