About that.. Is it still not solved?
Have anyone tried to implement the flickerfree grayscale that Johan E.
explains in http://alh.dhs.org/ti89/hw2graypost.html ?
I don't have a hw2 calc so I can't try.
Should be nice if it, if it works right, gets included in some grayscale lib.
Maybe it would be a good thing to release a new grayscale lib that is not
compatible with the old. (I think this hw2 flickerfree routine has some
small incompabilities with the old, but I know to little about the old to
know really)
I have also seen _even_ grayscale on a hw1 ti89. (That is, 4 even
grayscales, not two almost black, or two almost white, depending on your
contrast.) Tried to replicate it myself but failed :) must have missed
something in the short brefing I got about how it worked. (or I just f*d
up, maybe I'll try again) That would be nice to see in libs too.
This was like a year ago. Why isn't the "community" benefiting from this yet?
