I just got my ti-89 a week or less ago, after i gave my ti-86 to my
girlfriend. It is hardware version 2.00, with the 1.05 software or whatever.
I don't have it in front of me, it is in my car, but i specifically remember
the hardware version being 2.00. Seeing as how i am incredibly ignorant
about 89's, and 68k assembly so far, i can't elaborate much as to what
version 2.00 offers, but hey, i thought i'd let miles raymond know the
"fabled" version 2.00 exists.
