hey guys

a friend of mine got a new 89, with rom 1.05. i then proceeded to
transfer my calc's 1.00 rom, but to no avail. (a checksum error). i know
the link was solid because i was able to transfer other files between
the calcs.

i then tried to use my graphlink with the "ti89base" program that
installs the 1.00 rom from my pc. again, a dialoge box told me a
connection with the 89 was established, but the rom wouldn't transfer.


does anyone have any insight to what is going on?
