Yes, exactly. When you "enable" remote mode again, remote mode will actually
be completely off. If you "enable" it again and it turns on again, that
means the TI-89 works differently than the TI-92. In that case, just APD or
take out one battery and it will be off.

You mean I am supposed to enable remote mode again, and that will in fact
