That's fine in basic, but i was talking about assembly (this _is_ the
assembly list)....  Does anyone know how to convert say a string like
"1.243" at (hl) into a real in OP1?

Anyway, there was a basic routine posted a while back that did just that
(convert a real->str).  It went something like this:
:#->x
:{0,1}->xStat
:{x,x}->yStat
:LinR xStat, yStat
:Eq>St(RegEq)->S
or something...
