If a person has access to an NT and MUST make it work, you could select DOS prompt only
on boot up and use any DOS program. I realize it would be inconvenient but if you are
in a real jam this would at least be a work around.

I think WIndows NT doesn't allow linking because it doesn't support direct hardware access - and both LINK85 and WINLINK seem to do so. Someone would have to write another link program which uses the windows API to write to the ports...
