WATCH WHEN DISCHARGING BATTERIES TOO LOW!!!  After about .5~1v, many
cells,  Ni-cad "C-size" packs especially, will have a tendancy to reverse
voltage so that +is now - and - is now +; shorting everything.  You have
been warned...
