**ReadMe** Program: Agenda V2.3 by Andreas Böhler Author: Andreas Böhler Mail: andy.boehler@gmx.net Homepage: www.klasseonline.tk Date: 01.11.2003 Requires: TI92plus / PLT V200 Based On: -- Uses: Secur2 coding routines, pass2key technology, dayofwk-replacement by Mario Fröschl, etc. See "Info/About" in agenda! Agenda is a program that keeps track of your appointments, phone numbers, addresses and many more! 1. Installation: If you simply want to have all functions of the program, send agenda.9xg to your calc! This will create a folder agenda. Then run agenda\agenda() to start agenda for the first time. To increase startup-speed the next time, don't archive or lock agenda when you start it the first time! When you run the program the first time, the setup-screen is displayed, where you have to enter a username and a password. The username/Password system protects your data a bit, but it's not a multiuser system, as it might look like... The password should be twice as long as your username, otherwise the encryption isn't that secure! If you use a Voyage or a TI92plus with the AMS >=2.07, then you are prompted for the Username and Password you entered before. Otherwise, if you use a regular 92plus (AMS < 2.07) you are first prompted for the current date, as this version of AMS doesn't support clock functionality. 2. Usage: Usage is pretty simple, I think it is nearly self-explaining. ag2conv: ag2conv is for previous users of agenda to convert the old aginf-file with the old password-routine to the new aginf2-format! simply run it... xconv: XConv converts your Adress-Book to use it with XORG. To convert your abk-file (the one, agenda usese) to the xorg\addr file (the default XORG uses), then enter something like this. xconv("agenda\abk","xorg\addr") xc2conv: XC2Conv converts your Calendar-Files to XCal2-Format, which uses encrypted entries. To do so, simply run xc2conv() and enter the correct values! NOTE: Always use the same password when converting several times, XCal2 will show nonsense if you don't do it! NOTE: These converters have to be sent to your calc seperately! Here are just some hints: + NEVER delete your aginf-file! If you delete it, you can't log-in to agenda anymore, the program blocks due to security reasons the access to your files! If you lost it, please drop me a line so that i can send you a new aginf-file! + The Adress-Book has no extra-features than the ones you can find in the menus! + Calendar: Some extra keys... It's possible to navigate through months with + and - keys, while you change years with the 4 and 6 keys. <- deletes, ENTER is new entry/edit entry, ESC is exit. Navigation through the current month is done by the cursor-keys. + To-Do: Well, no extra features as the ones in the menus! + Currency-Converter: No Extra-Features, but some hints: When entering the rates, always divide your home rate through the foreign rate! When entering the home-rate, enter 1 as the rate! Also, the home rate MUST BE the first rate entered! Well, then have fun with agenda :) 3. Notes on TI92plus for AMS <2.07 As these versions fo AMS do NOT support Clock-Functionality, you need the extra function "dayof" to be sent to your calc and to be renamed to "dayofwk" in order to use calendar correctly! You must also enter the current date everytime you startup agenda! I recommend you to upgrade to a newer TI92Plus Operating System like 2.09 at the time of this writing! 4. Disclaimer Agenda is FreeWare, you may give it to any other person you want, but you may not sell the program or earn any credits for something you haven't done!
