========================================================================== FChem version 1.0 BETA by: David L. Cantrell Jr. ========================================================================== ----------- What is it? ----------- Remember ChemLib 85 for ZShell? It was the periodic table and polyatomic ion list programs for ZShell. I wrote that a while ago. FChem is, or will be, an equivalent to ChemLib 85 for Fargo. So far the only part that is near completion is the periodic table. A polyatomic ion list program and an acid list program will be completed soon. These programs are larger than their ZShell equivalents. THIS IS A BETA VERSION OF FCHEM. IT REQUIRES FARGO VERSION 1.0 BETA 12. IF A NEWER VERSION OF FARGO IS RELEASED, I DO NOT KNOW IF FCHEM WILL WORK PROPERLY WITH IT. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED BY FCHEM. ------------------------------------- What's including in the distribution? ------------------------------------- FCHEM.92P FChem version 1.0 BETA FCHEM.ASM FChem source code FCHEM.TXT This file MACROS.H A copy of Jimmy Mardell's MACROS.H file which is used by FChem Feel free to examine the source code, but do not change it and redistribute it. If you want to make a change to the program, please tell what you want to do and why. I will make the necessary change if I haven't already and redistribute the program. ------------------------------- How do I install and run FChem? ------------------------------- Transfer FCHEM.92P to you TI-92. Of course, Fargo must be installed first. You can either run FChem from the Fargo shell or type fchem() at the command line and press Enter. ------------------- How do I use FChem? ------------------- FChem works a lot like ChemLib 85. Type the symbol of the element you are searching for. You only need to press Enter if the element's symbol contains one letter, otherwise, FChem will automatically display the element's information. NOTE: In this version of FChem you can only search in lowercase letters. If you type in "Al" for aluminum, it will return "---Not Found---". You must type in lowercase. Press the ESC key to exit FChem. The help screen that was in ChemLib 85 is now displayed on FChem's screen all the time. --------------------------- What elements are in FChem? --------------------------- This version of FChem has the following elements in it's database: Vanadium, Tungsten, Silver, Aluminum, Argon, Arsenic, Astatine, Gold, Boron, Barium, Beryllium, Bismuth, Bromine, Carbon, Calcium, Cadmium, Chlorine, Cobalt, Chromium, Cesium, Copper, Fluorine, Iron, Francium, Gallium, Hydrogen, Helium, Mercury, Hessium, Iodine, Indium, Iridium, Potassium, Krypton, Lithium, Magnesium, Manganese, Nitrogen, Sodium, Neon, Nickel, Oxygen, Phosphorus, Lead, Palladium, Platinum, Radium, Rhenium, Rhodium, Radon, Sulfur, Antimony, Selenium, Silicon, Tin, Strontium, Tantalum, Tellurium, Titanium, Thallium, Zinc, Zirconium, Xenon --------------------------------- Where can I find future versions? --------------------------------- You can find future versions of FChem at the following locations: http://www.ticalc.org http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/7938 list-fargo@lists.ticalc.org calc-ti@lists.ppp.ti.com Thanks for using FChem.
