JHProgramming's Settings Utilities Version 1.2, 4/28/00 Settings Utilities is a set of programs to save your settings for your modes and custom units on your calculator. These programs, ModeSave and UnitSave, are nearly identical, except for the fact that one saves a list of modes and the other saves a list of units. Therefore, I will describe only one of the programs. ModeSave.89p and UnitSave.89p - These programs should run on a TI-92+, but I don't have one, so I can't test it. The ModeSave program is very easy to use. It will show a popup box saying my name. Press ENTER to continue, or ESC to quit. When you press ENTER, the program will show three choices. The first is Exit. This quits the program. The second choice is Save Modes... and the third choice is Restore Modes... Save Modes To save your mode settings, choose Save Modes... and press ENTER. This will bring up a box that lets you type in a filename for you to save the modes list as. Then, it will save the list and quit the program. If you make an error, it will tell you to check the filename and try again. Simple. *note: when you save a file, it is automatically locked. Restore Modes Restore Modes works nearly the same as Save Modes. Just type in the file name that you want to restore the modes from, and it will change your mode settings to the ones stored in the file that you put in. It tells you to check the filename if you make a mistake, or if the file doesn't exist. UNITSAVE RUNS IN THE SAME MANNER AS MODESAVE, SO READ THE ABOVE DIRECTIONS TO FIGURE OUT UNITSAVE. DISCLAIMER: JHProgramming is not responsible for any damage whatsoever which these programs may cause to your calculator, though it is extremely unlikely that BASIC software could damage hardware... These programs have been tested thoroughly and have been found to be bug free, as far as I know. If you do find a bug, please e-mail me at: jereh1@yahoo.com (c)2000 by JHProgramming.
