Quick21 v1.0 By: Jason Wentland Uploaded 4-10-2000 This program was inspired by a similar game on prizepoint.com. Its all my programing. Enjoy. --------------Gameplay:---------------- There are five stacks. Your goal is to get 21 in each stack. Same rules as the game 21 or blackjack. Aces are 11 or 1. Face cards are 10. Number cards are there respective numbers. The drawpile shows the current card for you to play. Put it in one of the five stacks by using the coresponding F key. If you go over 21 in any stack, you bust, and game is over. You are allowed to skip two cards from the drawpile. Use [up] to skip a card. Use [down] to end the hand, say for instance you have no moves. If you use both your skips and you try to skip a 3rd time, you will end the hand. You are timed. You have 30 sec. to play. Get as many points as you can. More time left at the end gives you more points. The more hands of 21 you have, the more points you get. Try to see how fast you can get 5 21s. Its not always possible to get 5 hands of 21. Cards are delt once from a standard deck of 52 cards (4 As, 4 2s, 4 3s, 4 4s,... 4 Ks). The Ace's value is automatically adjusted for you. Example, you have a stack of 9 points. Placing an Ace on this stack will add 11 points to the stack. Place an Ace on a stack of 15, and the Ace will add 1 point to the stack. Place a 9 on a stack of 15 which contains an ace, the ace will change to a value of 1, to make a total of 14 for the stack... you get the idea. if not, play and youll see. its not that hard. :-) If you run out of time, the game ends, and current points are calculated. There is a quick directions screen accesable from the main screen of the program before a game begins in case you forget what keys do. [Esc] lets you quit the game. The totals of the stacks are displayed below the stack. You can only have a maximum of 5 cards per stack. Dont put too many low cards in one stack. --------------Program:---------------- The program comes with a folder in which the variables for the program are kept. The main program is put into main. The whole program should be archived when you upload it to the calc to help save space. Do not change or delete the folder. You should be able to put the main program in a different folder if you wish. I ask you to please not edit the program. But you may distribute the program as you like. -------------Me:---------------- Programed, tested, etc. by: Jason Wentland.
