Key Code Lock 85 -- Version 3.5 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= This is it. The ultimate in Keycode Protection for your TI-85. Yes, it is ANOTHER password program to "lock" your calculator so other people can't use it without your permission. Over the last few months, I've added a few new features to it, and I hope you'll find them useful. The program is rather self-explanitory; you should be able to figure most of it out. It's all menu-driven, and if you can't read menus, well... ;) Here are some things you need to know before you can make use of this wonderful program: 1: WHEN YOU PUT KCLock85 ON YOUR TI-85, THE KEYCODE WILL BE [ENTER], until you change it. 2: You can change the keycode in the Configure Menu. 3: You can use ANY of the keys in your keycode, except [EXIT], [ENTER], and [ON], and it may be up to eight (8) keystrokes long. 4: You can also set whether KCLock85 returns you to ZShell or the TI-85's Home Screen in the Configure Menu. 5: You can ALWAYS press [EXIT] to get out of where ever you are in the program. (e.g.: if you bump the wrong key, and it takes you somewhere that you don't want to be, etc.) 6: Pressing [EXIT] in the main menu will return you to wherever you have it set up to go. (Does that make sense? ;) ) 7: It randomly re-encrypts the key code EVERY time you exit the program. (If you can write a de-encrypter for this program (in TI-BASIC, anyway) you must be from another planet or something... ;) ) Using KCLock85 to shut off the calculator does not use any more power than if you shut it off normally. That's about all. Maybe I should just breifly mention that I can't take responsibility if it does something bad to your calculator (not like it could or anything). Report any flames, compliments, etc. to FFNP69C@Prodigy.com HOPE YOU ENJOY IT!! :) ~Keith Burzinski P.S.: Thanks to Chris Bowron and the ZShell Development Team (You know why ;) )!
