+--------------------+-------------------+ | Access Denied v1.4 | by Adam Pritchard | +--------------------+-------------------+ | e-mail: adam_pritchard@hotmail.com | +----------------------------------------+ ATTENTION: I have had dozens of e-mails about people not being able to use Access Denied because they don't know the keycode. The version I originally supplied had no keycode, so somebody has used it and rezipped it. This version has NO keycode so when prompted for OLD keycode, just press ON key. Note: Uses the keycode system from Safehold, but has an improved interface and function. Safehold is by Austin Butler Features: * High security, there is no way of gaining access to the calculator without resetting the memory first (taking batteries out!) * Nice easy to use interface with keys list on main menu * Option to return to either ZShell or Home screen using quick toggle key * Enhanced power saving, the time needed to check keycode is low so calculator is on for minimal time dealing with failed attempts Description: Access Denied is a security lock program for the TI-85 calculator running ZShell or compatible. It uses a revolutionary key code entry, instead of being prompted for a keycode as you turn on your calculator, you must hold down a certain keycode as you press the ON button in order to successfully gain access to the calculator. You may have a keycode which consists of up to 8 keys to be held simultaneously (a bit tricky), but even fewer keys would take a long time to guess. Instructions: MAIN MENU You have three choices on the main menu, you can change keycode (which needs the old keycode for security purposes), you can toggle return mode, i.e. return to Home screen or ZShell. 2nd: CHANGE CODE You will be asked to hold down the old code and press ON key, then you must hold down the new keycode which consists of up to eight key presses and then press ON to set it. ALPHA: RETURN MODE Pressing this will switch between Home screen or ZShell menu return, the active mode will be displayed on same line. ENTER: LOCK TI-85 Pressing enter will lock the TI-85 using the current key- code and will not allow access to the TI-85 until the correct code is held whilst the ON button is pushed to switch on the calculator.
