GUESS V1.1 w/ LINK PLAY Thanks for downloading GuessLP. To install, simply unzip the file guess.zip and stick GUESS.8xp onto your calculator. One file, no pictures. <("<) To play: Grab a friend and a link cable. Connect the two 83+'s and run "prgmGuess". Choose which player will go first and who will go second. In order to minimize difficulties, make sure both players have the program loaded before any choices are made and have the second player waiting before player one makes their decision. Then, follow the directions on the screen. <( " )> As far as I know, there are no major bugs or problems with the game. It's been known to get stuck (both players "waiting") from time to time; simply hit ON and load the game again. If the other person wins, "Player Wins" is displayed, but that's not a big deal. I'm just lazy. E-mail me with any questions or concerns. (>")> For all those programmers out there, feel free to rip off my GetCalc() stuff. There aren't a lot of link tutorials out there (if any), so here's some tips: 1. The command you are looking for is GetCalc(variable) 2. The GetCalc() command will take (variable) from one calculator and store it into (variable) on the other, so make sure you aren't overwriting important information 3. When using the "waiting" prompt, make sure to allow the waiting calculator time to grab a variable before switching positions 4. Simply using GetCalc in a loop by itself can really slow down the other person's calculator I'll hopefully be making a real tutorial soon. E-mail me if you're interested in learning more. Thanks again - JDubya Download at your own risk. Considering this is a Ti-BASIC game and you can press BREAK to stop at any time, it shouldn't do any damage, but in case it does, don't blame me.
