Mack ------------------------------------------------------- If you dont know the basic rules of blackjack, this file wont help you. The Program BlackJack is extreemly self-explanatory especailly if you know real blackjack Blackjack has 4 required files to run. The Main Program, 2 subroutines (prgmBLCK1 and prgmBLCK2), and Pic0 (the title screen) These will all be in a Group file MAIN MENU: The main menu has the options... 1.) Deal New Hand: This Will reshuffle the deck(s) and allow you to play a new hand. First It will ask how many decks you want to play with. Next it will ask for your wager. The total amout of money you have is displayed in the top right corner of the screen durring the time you wager. GAMEPLAY: After the wager, you and the dealer are dealt your hands. You can chose HIT ('Y=' button), STAND ('Window' button), or Double ('Zoom' button). The result of the game is displayed in the bottom right corner after the hand (WIN, LOSE, BUST, BLACKJACK!, PUSH, etc.) **Notes on DOUBLE option: As in a real casino, when you double you are given another card and the pot is doubled ending your turn. But in my BlackJack table you may double even if you dont have the money to do so, but this money can still be taken out of your 'Total Winnings' in the statistics page if you lose the hand. 2.) Statistics: This displays important stats from your games of blackjack. The stats displayed are: Total Games, Totaled Winnings(negitive or positive) , highest amount won, and Games Won vs. Lost (WINS subtract LOSSES). You May Clear the stats at anytime by hitting clear as the screen displays. 3.) Info: Pretty much just the credits. This is mostly just included because I didnt draw the title page, and I wanted to give credit to my classmate who volenteered to draw it. 4.) Quit: Exits BlackJack properly OTHER INFO: This Table has a '5-card win' This game is pretty much a real simulation of BlackJack. Unlike other calculator blackjacks, this one has a correct card probability. Basicly this game will account for the cards that have already gone by and decress the probablility of them apearing again. EXAMPLE... With a full deck of cards the probability of the top card being an ace is (4 / 52), but after that card has been pulled out, probability is no longer (4 / 52) for any card. THIS allows for a stratagy of remembering past cards to help guess future ones. WITH this program, you actually can get out paper and pen and count what cards have gone by to be able to guess the last few. Writing BlackJack to take into account the changes in probability was easilly the most difficult part of its production.
