PHYSICS EQUATION SOLVER v2.2 by Adam Hassett For the TI-83 Released: 12/8/98 Maximize the Notepad and use [EDIT], Word Wrap to view this file. Description- Physics Equation Solver is a program which lets you solve many physics equations for a specific variable. It is distributed free of charge as an aide to computing equations, rather then doing it out on paper. You can use it to cheat on tests, if you want to, but I take no responsibility if you get caught. (Very efficient for lab work.) Other Information- A lot of people have asked why I disabled the editing feature for PES. I did this because I had a problem where people changed the equations in the program, and then distributed the changed version as an authentic one. Needless to say, a lot of people got wrong answers while using PES, and hunted me down. Bugs- No known ones, but they keep appearing... If you find one, please contact me at newthelk@usa.net. Version Information- v2.2- Fixed several Label errors. Fixed an error when solving for RMA with Efficiency and IMA. Made the opening screen escapable with [ENTER] Added an Easter Egg (although lousy). v2.1- Fixed the output error with the Coefficient of Friction equation. Fixed the "*(Fix 8*(Fix 8" error. Added my name to the title screen. :-) v2.0a- An unauthorized release by a tester. v2.0- Added rotary motion equations and work equations. Put universal gravitation equation and Newton's second law in "Other Equations" section. Added Coefficient of Friction equation. Changed uppercase variables to lowercase variables, where possible and appropriate. v1.0- The first edition, with linear motion equations, the universal gravitation equation, and Newton's second law. Future Releases- I plan to add a section for descriptions of the equations, as well as adding energy equations and the like. I also plan to put out a version for the TI-82 in the near future.
