Electron Configuration v5.0 By Steven Bass 1/25/2001 ---------------------- ---- -------------- ---------- Enter the number of electrons, and it will output the electron configuration. The program uses the graph screen so that there will be more room. This program will show the electron configuration of an electron with up to 24804 electrons (a lot). Simply enter the amount of electrons (atomic number) and it will show the electron configuration. When the screen fills up, the program will pause and wait for you to press ENTER before continuing. Also included in this ZIP file is the DOS version of this program, this version runs faster because it uses the computer CPU instead of the calculators CPU, this is helpful for large electron numbers or if you do not have a calculator or calculator emulator. This program will run under DOS, WINDOWS, and I think Linux (haven't tried). If you use this program in windows, either maximize the DOS box or go full screen (ALT ENTER), I recommend you maximize unless you know what your doing. Any calculator crashes are not at fault of any of the BASIC programs, but some Assembly programs may crash, so back up your calculator before-hand.
