Program: Centroids By: Ben Axelrod This program will help you to find the centroid of an object by using the sections method. Before using this program you must determine how many sections to split the object into. Then look in the table for the x bar, y bar and possibly z bar for each of the sections you have and determine the area. Now you can use the program. Enter how many sections you have, then x bar, y bar, z bar and the area of each section. It does all the crappy math for you. Isn’t that cool? This program is great if you are in Statics, but probably useless if you aren't. Questions, comments? Email me: bmaxelro@syr.edu
