Since this is a MUCH more advanced version of Windows, you don't have to edit ANYTHING! There is one thing you can do... You can name a program MYPROG, and you can run it SECURED from the programs menu in start. (When I say SECURLY, it means that you can ONLY run it from Windows!) Unfortionatly due to BASIC, you have to edit ONLY ON THE CALCULATOR PROGMAN, all you have to do is write it the name of your program. (Don't worry...Instructions included) ----------------------------------------------------------------------- MEMORY REQUIREMENTS ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Uninstalled size (Nothing has been touched) About 16902 B Installed size (Win98B has been ran) About 21799 B ----------------------------------------------------------------------- *********************************************************************** ----------------------------------------------------------------------- LETS START!! ----------------------------------------------------------------------- >First Send GOLD.83g to your TI-83 Calculator >Second Run WIN98B Now, the Windows 98 intillization program has started.... -Press enter when prompted -Select YES on the menu Now it prompts you to enter a 15 digit registration number. This number is for people who might STEEL your copy of Windows 98, so they won't be able to run WIN98B without the number. The registration number is: 3R64IJKLP2IFI6K Enter this CORRECTLY! then press enter. Now watch as the pictures are automatically set up. Now it will prompt you for your name, enter it (the A-LOCK is auto- matically enabled). -Press enter Now it will ask you to enter the serial number on the back of your TI-83. (A 15 digit number) !!INCLUDE SPACES, AND DASHES!! Here is the important part...Enter a 4 digit password that you WILL remember. Then it will ask you to confirm it, so it makes sure you got it right. If you did not, then it will ask you to re-enter then confirm again. If it said "CONFIRMED" then it will automatically go to a menu. The menu will ask you to BOOT, or EXIT. !!It is recommended that you exit, and delete WIN98B!! That's it! IMPORTANT!! ~~~~~~~~~~~ If you forgot your password, then YOU are unable to do ANYTHING about it, but I can. If you should forget you password, then e-mail me and we will work it out over the internet, in a CLOSED manner. I will not explain here due to security reasons. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- *********************************************************************** ----------------------------------------------------------------------- RUNNING Windows 98 TI-83 Gold Edition Version 2.10 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Windows version 2.10 is MUCH more BETTER then any prior version. This program has been tested to perfection by only 3 people. So if you should find any errors (which is unlikely), then be sure to contact me. All routines are in proper working order. They will keep working unless you do something that can cause somthing to operate correctly. Well, all you have to do is run from the program menu WINDOWS. -When you run it, a scrolling bar will go across the screen. >You can bypass this by pressing enter. -It will prompt you for a password. >Don't get it wrong more then 3 times, or the program will lock you out, and you cannot run Windows. This is a security precaution for people who might want to break into you Windows (hi-hi). If it does lock you out, then contact me. -Then a menu will pop up. >You can select BOOT, or SETUP, or EXIT ->BOOT will proceede to run Windows ->SETUP will take you to a screen where you can view data, or change your password. ->Exit will exit, and record the action in the BOOTLOG.
