Program: Note 2000 V1.11 Made by: Huub Heerink Date: januari 17th, 2000 Mail: ti83@heerink.tmfweb.nl Site: http://www.heerink.tmfweb.nl This is the first version of my Basic texteditor for the TI-83, that has appeared online. This program uses the strings 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and 8, for saving the text, and the filename of the document. ATTENTION: When you run the program for the first time, use the "prepare" option in the main menu, the TI-83 will fill strings 1 till 8, so there will no errors. After the prepare option you can go to "new file" make a new file. Choose one of the 4 files, full files will automaticly be overwritten. After you made a chose, type your text, the filesize is unlimited, because of a trick (which not works correct when you use characters that uses more than one room), and use spaces to get to the next line. DON'T PRESS ENTER UNTIL YOU HAVE FINISHED TYPING!, the doc will then be saved! So if you want to save it, press enter, and then type the filename (max 14 characters, longer will not be displayed, and only costs memory). And with "Open file" you can see it, press enter to go to the next page. With "Delete file" you can delete files that you don't need anymore. Have fun with the program. History: V1.0: Made a first version, that could only take 120 characters a text. V1.1: Added the unlimited size trick (thanks to Luuk). V1.11: Deleted the 5th text slot, for future use (for example sending to other TI-83's). Future Plans: Adding a replace and a send option. Adding editing a text. Thanks to: Luuk and other classmates who helped me whatsoever. Greetings, Huub, (ti83@heerink.tmfweb.nl)
