Program: Mag By: Ben Axelrod All this program does is find the square root of the sum of the squares. I love saying that! It is basically the Pythagorean theorem but for three variables. This program can be used to find the magnitude of a vector, distance from the origin to the point, or for a good old right triangle (enter K as 0). After you enter your three variables, this program gives you two answers. The one on the left side of the screen is your mathematically exact answer (the square root of some number). The number after that one on the right side of the screen is the decimal answer (the square root calculated out). Questions, comments? Email me: bmaxelro@syr.edu
