Factors for the TI-83 | by Adam Brooke | http://basm.org | factors@basm.org | ----------------------+ Program size: 231 bytes 10-23-99 To run: -Send the program FACTORS.83p to your TI-83. -Run FACTORS on your calculator to start the program What it does: Factors allows you to input any positive integer and find it's (integer) factors. For instance, if you inputed the number 50, you'd get the results: FACTORS: 1 50 2 25 5 10 Note that all factors are listed once, and when multiplied, the 2 factors side-by-side in each row will give you the number you inputed. This program is useful for quickly finding all factors of a number, which you often have to do in math classes. How to use: Run the program FACTORS on your TI-83, enter the positive integer you wish to find the factors of, press enter. Results will be displayed. If prompted, press enter again to see more factors. Press enter to quit the program once all factors have been calculated. If you have questions, you can email me at factors@basm.org. This is the first and last version of this program, unless a bug is found or someone suggests something to be added. Feel free to look at and edit the code for your own needs, but please give credit where it is due. Thanks to: | -You, for reading this document | ---------------------------------------------+
