Version: 1.0 programmer: Adam Brooke Calculator: TI-83 Language: Almost all TI-BASIC e-mail: e-mail.4me@juno.com webpage: http://come.to/adbTI (or address above) The Object of the Game: The game starts out with twenty random walls appearing around you. You are a gray dot that appears on the left wall, middle section. On the other side, an opening indicates where you can exit. However, every time you move, a black dot appears. If a black dot hits you, you will die. Also, the black dots can form walls, trapping you in a particular area with no means of escape. And the longer you stay in an area, the more likely it is that you will get hit. (Or trapped.) However, 1 point is added to your score each time you move, so you might want to stick around a little bit. (Running into walls does count.) You get 100 points for exiting. When and if you die, a gray X will appear for a brief second. You will also be told if you have escaped. The Keys: Arrow Keys - Move you up, right, left, and down. Graph - Exits the program in the middle of a game. Enter - Exits the program when you have escaped. Any key besides On - Exits the game if you have died. VERSION HISTORY Trapped!!! v1.0 -SIZE: 1135 bytes -Rather slow gameplay -Semi-grayscale graphics -Engine to be used in other games I make I am not responsible for any damage this program(s) might do to your calculator or it's memory. However, this game contains one small assembly program, which is the only program that could really do anything more than delete a few variables. FUTURE VERSIONS? Perhaps, though this isn't really much of a game. I started it having no idea of what I was trying to make, and this is simply what it turned out to be. Sorry if you don't like it, neither do I :( If you have any comments, suggestions, or ideas for Trapped!!!, e-mail me at: e-mail.4me@juno.com I know that it's rather hard to see the individual pixels from a distance but programs are easiest to make single-pixel size, and to make everything 2x bigger would mean to rewrite the entire program which I really don't feel like doing. Stop by my webpage at http://come.to/adbTI to see some better programs I and others have made in TI-BASIC. Some games even have animated screenshots!
