Thank you for downloading Grade Master. This program was made to keep track of your grades, if you are within the Montgomery County school system or any other school system that grades assignments as follows: Homework: totaled and percent multiplied by .1 Tests/Classwork: totaled and percent multiplied by .9 Then these 2 sums are added to make your percent grade. This program allows you to keep track of 3 different classes, and tells you the name of each class and assignment. Also, it tells the earned/possible points and your rounded percentage (per asignment and total). It uses the following variables to store data: lGRD lGRD1 lGRD2 lGRD3 Str1 Str2 Str3 -Some letter variables- When you first run the program (lGRD doesn't exist), you will set up your class names. There are limits to how many characters can be in the name (14 for class name, 10 for assignment name). Afterwards, when you run the program, you will see a screen as below: Please select a class to open: 1.Your class name 1 2.Your class name 2 3.Your class name 3 4.Quit This is very self-explanatory, but in case you're wondering, press the numbers 1-4 to select an option. Also, you can press 5 to reset all data (everything except letter variables is deleted). When you open a class, you will be able to see all your assignments and grades, in order that you entered them in. You can press enter at any point during the class view to enter a new assignment. Also, there will be arrows in the bottom/top right corners, allowing you to scroll down/up if enough assignments exist. The total will always be displayed after the last assignment on the list, so you may have to scroll with more assignments. The assignments are displayed as follows: Assignment name - earned/possible - percent The total will tell you the percent grade that you have in the class. Please note, that no settings (new assignments) are saved until you press 'clear' from a class view. Then, your settings will be saved, and you will be directed to the main screen. There is no other way to quit the class view (other than ON). Also, this program deletes all unneccesary variables that it has used, if you quit correctly ('clear' from class view, 4 from the main screen). The total N/A message will appear if only 1 kind of assignment has been entered (HW or Test only), or if none are entered. The program includes some instructions and messages to help, in case you forget something, or didn't read this whole manual. I hope that this program is of use! I actually created it for a friend, who was bugging me enough so I made it. I made it in 5 hours(!). -Max B.
