It is to be used to keep track of your grades (up to 6 classes). When you run the program for the first time, you will receive a fatal error. This is normal. It will tell you to do a first time run. After doing this, you will not receive this error unless you screw around with either list GRDLN or matrix J. If you accidently do make a mistake in the grade keeping process, you must edit matrix J. The first row in the matrix is for science, the second for language, the third for english, the fourth for social studies, fifth for math, and the last row is for other. If you look at the colums in the rows, you will realize that the grades are kept in the order that you entered them. Find the grade you incorrectly entered and fix it. If you want to remove the incorrect grade, you can eiter change it to 0,0 or go through and manually configure it. Then, you must decrease the value in list GRDLN by 2 for the corresponding class (list is in same order as matrix is in rows). I plan to make this automatically happen in a future version of Grade Trakr. This program is still in beta form for this new release. I am not responsible for any errors in the program, including errors that screw over your calculator. If you come accross any errors, please check the known errors page at http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Hub/8247/GradeTrakr/knownbugs.html and if it is not listed there, please email me at CRS51885@hotmail.com and tell me about it. Thank you for testing Grade Trakr 3.0.2! Plans for future releases of Grade Trakr: - Incorporate an automatic deletion process of grades - Create a routine capable of graphing your grades - Remove any bugs found in the current version (3.0.2) - Make the new version more efficient in storing grades/coding of the program L e g a l N o t i c e = = = = = = = = = = = = This program is protected under copyright laws of the United States of America and international treaties. When you click "Add Grade", a sub menu will appear with all of the classes. Select a class and then enter your score followed by the possible points for an assignment. Your grade list will be updated and you will be returned to the main menu. By clicking "View Grade", a sub menu will appear. Select the class which you would like to view your grades. Your grades will appear. Press enter when you are done viewing them. You will be returned to the main menu. Under setup, the options "Convert G2F->3", "Pword Protect", "Reset Defaults". "First Time Run" appear. Convert G2F->3 converts the Grade Trakr 2.0 file system to the 3.0.1 format because they are incompatible. This will make it work. Pword Protect enables you to lock out the program, accessable only with the password. Follow the onscreen instructions for more information. Reset Defaults resets the system defaults without removing your grades. Use this if you get a fatal error when you start the program if you have run it before. First Time Run sets up the program and all of its dependicies for you. Only select this option if it truly is your first time running Grade Trakr. IT WILL ERASE YOUR GRADES!!! Every time that you add a grade, a backup of the grade list is made. If you lose your grades, use Restore Backup to fix them. It's self explanatory. On the main menu, Quit exits the program. Selecting Disclaimer will view a disclaimer I have written because for my protection. Thank you for choosing Grade Trakr! = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Copyright 2000 Craig Schenker
