First, dodge the Goombas and get the Super Mushroom. Goombas falling off roofs are the hardest enemy in this level. Proceed (the roofs are the safest place to be), and you will come to a building with collapsing blocks. Look farmiliar? That building is the Drug Store from Super Smash Bros Melee, and so are the buildings to its left and right. Further right, you'll come to the Onett bulletin board. Near the end, you'll come to a playground with another power-up, and then the Finish Bar. ZONE 2: Brick Towers Level Type: Brick Note that the koopa shells can destroy blocks in this level, which can be a good, or a not good thing. Jump the koopas, watching where you aim their shells (especially in Mario 2.0). Soon you'll reach a lone koopa shell and a wall. Knock the shell at the wall, and it will be destroyed. After that, another shell. This time, hit it left to unveil a secret area. If you can't reach the power-up, hi-jump a goomba to get it. After that, another shell! Shoot it right to enter another secret area. ZONE 3: Light Tunnel Level Type: Dungeon You'll notice several sky-lights in this tunnel, which make seeing all the easier. There's not much here that's new, but watch out for the Goombas near the Thwomps, and where the walls are black, jump to invisible blocks under the white blocks, also they aren't that invisible if there's light shining on them. ZONE 4: Burnt Forest Level Type: Forest (Destroyed) This forest has seen the full wrath of Bowser's fire. Many trees have fallen down or been destroyed, so you might have to jump across pits where trees once were. ZONE 5: Mute City Level Type: Race Whoa! There are a ton of F-Zero racers in this level, which you must clear of Goombas and Koopas. This level is meant to be moving at top speed, so even the item boxes have jet-packs on them to keep up. The main thing to avoid here are the sometimes tight jumps, as well as Goombas falling off of racers above you. ZONE 6: Golf Park Level Type: Golf Course This is another unique level. It's relatively easy, with no bottomless pits. You can get coins off of the putting greens, as well as the holes by the flags. ZONE 7: Mt. Bowser Level Type: Hills What else did you expect? This is Bowser's 8th castle, so yeah it's on top of a big mountain! There are lots of enemies here, especially fireballs and bullets. Just use caution, and make sure you don't attempt to get item boxes in places that you can't get out of!! ZONE 8: Bowser's Castle Level Type: Various This level is made up of little rooms that are flashbacks from previous Mario levels in this series. You'll probably be able to identify a lot of them, such as Bullet Zone and Cloud World. The Bowser at the end is not hard at all, so just finish him off as you always have. ------------------------------------------------ V FAQ Q: How do I do a high jump? A: Simply hold down 2nd when jumping off of an enemy or music note. Q: There's an area I can't access. Why? A: Almost all areas can be accessed. Some are only small enough for tiny Mario, so beginners will still be able to recover from being shrunk. Q: It won't recognize the level. A: Like all SM levels, try archiving it, or unarchiving it. ------------------------------------------------ VI OTHER INFO I have played this levelset as well as every one of the others, and have beaten it many times, so if questions or comments, e-mail me (my address is at the top).
