MISSILES 2.1 created by David Dynes (XaVIeR) for BallisTiC Software, [c]1998. OBJECT: Amass the greatest points possible by avoiding the sidewinding Missiles to reach the other side. POINTS AWARDED BY: staying alive. A way to pirate the game is to idle in starting position, but after a while the missiles will come up and blow you up. CONTROLS I made the controls relatively easy, if for no other reason than to keep this game simple to understand.  The ARROWS move your airplane (symbolized by "<" ) respective to the direction on screen. (for example, left arrow moves it 1 space to the left, which seems forward to your plane.)  The PAUSE function is the "0" key, which is PAUSE in all of my works.  After a couple tests, I realized most of one's movement is forward in this game, and I designed an AUTO-PILOT function. AUTO-PILOT is activated by pressing the "2nd" key, and "ALPHA" deactivates it. Be wary about turning this on, for there are no manual controls.  The "WINDOW" key brings you to the main menu, for a quick, discreet exit.  There are cheat codes to this game, for those of you who would rather win cheap than lose honestly. ***** CHEATS ***** The "MODE" key brings up the cheat input. The codes are as follows: 0: Turns cheats off. 1: Extra points (close to 200 at times) per time unit. 2: You're immune to the missiles! 3: Infinite lives, for in a sticky situation. PLEASE NOTE: I put these in here merely for sophistication. Usage of these codes defaces the value of the game, and getting 2 points honestly is better than 40000 with cheats. :) My present record (without cheating) is 20309 on EXPERT level.
