Catch'Em By Dennis Lambe Jr. malsyned@i84.net ------------------- Catch'Em is a game inspired by a shareware program I got a long time ago. I have attempted to replicate the same basic idea on the TI-82. Basically, numbers and *s fall from the top of the screen, faster and faster with each increasing level, and you have to catch them with your paddle. Here are the basic rules of play: Like I said, stuff falls, and you have to catch it. The higher the number you catch, the more points you get. The farther away the number is from your paddle when it appears, the higher the number. Really hard objects, noted by *s, are worth the most points. You start the game with three paddles. The first looks like a '/=' (not equal to sign), the second looks like a '=', and the third looks like a '-' You can loose a paddle by missing an object. When you loose all of your paddles, you lose! When you get past the last level, YOU WIN!!!! I think that's about it. Programers may be interested to know, the paddle can be moved even if the object is not falling. You will get what I mean when you play the game. This is done with some creative use of loops, but I forget how because it was a long time ago that I wrote it. I didn't copywrite this program or anything, but still, I wrote it, so don't be a dillmonkey and change it without telling me. K? cool. BYE
