| | |----- | |---\ Advanced Grade Calculation Program | | | | | | for the TI-81 |_____| |____ | |___/ By: Justin G. Camp | | | | | E-Mail: justin@acsworld.net | | | | | http://justin_camp.tripod.com | | |----- |_____ | Programmed 6/10/00 ===A LITTLE NOTE=== These are my original programs. You may redistribute them, but you must give me credit by including this original documentation with them. Unlike many other programmers, I do not waste your limited memory by including a reference to myself as the creator, so if you redistribute them, you may not either, nor take credit for them in any way, shape, or form. If you need help, please refer to the original help file (ti81help.txt). If you need further assistance, contact me at my email address: - Please refer to the help file FIRST! Please visit my webpage at: http://justin_camp.tripod.com Thank you for downloading my programs and I hope you enjoy them!!!!! ===FILES INCLUDED=== ti81help.txt gradecalc.txt changinggrades.txt ===ADDING PROGRAMS TO YOUR CALCULATOR=== Unfortunately, the TI-81 is not capable of using a TI-Graph Link, therefore you must type the program in by hand. But don't worry! I have included instructions to help you out, and I also provide free tech support via my e-mail address (above)!!!!! ===MENUS USED=== The only two menus I use in this program are activated by pressing the PRGM or TEST key! ClrHome, Disp, Input, If, Goto, Lbl, & End are all under the PRGM menu, while the symbols for 'Greater Than Or Equal To' and 'Less Than Or Equal To' are under the TEST menu. ===MEMORY USED=== This program takes up only 236 bytes, and the TI-81 is equipped with 2,400 bytes! ===WHAT IT DOES=== This program will calculate your grade on a test, essay, project, etc given the amount of points possible and the amount of points missed. I call this program 'Advanced' because it will calculate the letter grade you will receive as well. ===CHANGING LETTER GRADES=== I know that all schools do not use the same grading scale, so I have included documentation (changinggrades.txt) to step you through the process of altering the program to suit you needs. Again, you may redistribute the the altered program to others at your school, etc but you must give me credit and not claim that it is yours in any way. ===OTHER INFO=== To get info about the TI-81 that does not regard my programs, go to: http://www.ti.com The address above links to Texas Instruments' webpage. Well, have fun!
