Well I first got my TI-83 Plus from a friend who lent it to me for the 6th grade EOGs, and after I found out that I couldn't use it, I got some games on it and used it as a GameBoy of sorts. Then once my RAM got cleared (I didn't know what garbage collect was then) and my games got deleted, so I got the Silver Link. Then at the start of 7th grade a long not-known student at my former elementary school met me at my middle school in my 7th grade year. He already knew ASM and BASIC, and once I saw him programming something in BASIC on his calculator, I started to learn from him. Lucky for me, he rode my bus, and I finally was able to fully program in BASIC today. I am starting to learn ASM programming.
